CBCGDF Research Team On Field Study on Biodiversity Friendly Power Projects in Tianjin, China
2021/9/18 11:00:00 本站

In September 2021, bird experts and researchers from the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) conducted on-site research on the habitats of Oriental White Storks and their nesting of high-voltage towers in Tianjin, before the autumn and winter migration season this year.

Over the years, it's frequently reported by CBCGDF volunteers and grassroot conservationists that Oriental white storks build nests in high-voltage towers in the coastal areas. How to balance biodiversity conservation and electricity safety? With the assistance of State Grid Tianjin company, the CBCGDF team are investigating and will help the industry to develop tailored solutions in this area.
