On the morning of August 13, 2019, at the invitation of the organizer, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, the Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will deliver a keynote speech at the "International Organization Talent Cultivation: Policy, Practice and Teaching" Forum co-organized by Peking University.
This event belongs to Peking University's “One Belt, One Road: Transforming Global Governance, Promoting Sustainable Development” seminar, which is also the content of Peking University's “Innovation and Management Exchange Course”. This is a student exchange program between Beijing and Hong Kong, which enrolls students from Colleges and Universities of Beijing and Hong Kong. In addition to online learning, students will gather at Peking University to conduct discussion and teaching, cultural visits, and corporate practices. The project is expected to realize the social sharing of high-quality projects and create a pragmatic cooperation and exchange platform belonging to the Beijing-Hong Kong Universities.
At the same time, this summer, students from the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and other universities will spend six weeks of internships in 15 central enterprises, and learn, think and practice together with the young people of the central enterprises, to strengthen a new platform for cooperation, a new starting point for the common growth of young people in the two places, and a new impetus to create a better tomorrow.
It is expected that there will be about 140 college students participating in the “One Belt, One Road: Transforming Global Governance and Promoting Sustainable Development” seminar, including about 90 young people from Hong Kong universities. Participants will focus on the “Belt and Road” initiative, global development and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The event will take a series of forms, including panel discussions, workshops (focusing on corporate management, SDG issues, etc.), as well as symposia with entrepreneurs.
