Recently, CBCGDF received a letter from Convention on Biological Diversity, asking for the nomination of an expert on biodiversity mainstreaming. This is a decision made by CBD COP14 held in Egypt to establish a non-formal consultative group on biodiversity mainstreaming, so as to further provide consultancy on biodiversity development to the Executive Secretary and the president group.

As President Xi Jinping said, China has become the main participant, contributor and even the leader in global Eco-civilization. We advocate speeding the development of an ecological system of green development and respecting nature, to build a clean and beautiful world. To deeply participate in global environmental governance, we shall enhance our voice and influence, actively change the international order in reformation, and in the end contributing a solution for the world's environmental protection and sustainable development. In response to the decision and the guidance of President Xi, CBCGDF nominated a candidate to the CBD Secretariat.
