Just after the Spring Festival holiday, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, the Secretary-General of CBCGDF, at the invitation of the CPPCC National Committee member, went to Inner Mongolia to carry out research on the proposal. The survey went deep into various areas such as factories and research institutes, and focused on investigations on soil pollution, hazardous waste disposal, atmospheric environmental protection, and industrial upgrading. Dr. Zhou also combined the investigation and proposed that the relevant proposals be promulgated as soon as possible in legislation and law enforcement, and the policies were implemented in a practical manner.

With the approaching of the National Conference of the two sessions in 2019, the community has given high attention to the proposals and proposals submitted by the NPC deputies and CPPCC National Committee members at the two sessions. Dr. Zhou and the National Committee of CPPCC jointly carried out this research work, which helped the proposal in the field of ecological protection to be more solidly promoted.

On January 16, CBCGD organized a meeting on proposals/recommendations for the two sessions in 2019, and invited representatives of NPC deputies, CPPCC National Committee members, representatives of NGOs from all over the country, of scientific research institutions and media, etc. to jointly discuss the proposals/recommendations for the two sessions in the field of ecological protection. The proposals/recommendations were discussed and a total of more than 70 of proposals/recommendations were passed to the deputies and committee members.
