Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China has drafted a revised version of the "Science and Technology Popularization Law of the People's Republic of China" to promote the development of science and technology in the country. In order to strengthen the national science popularization capacity and implement the strategies of strengthening the country through science and education, building a strong talent pool and driving innovation, the Ministry has sought public opinions on the revised draft.
As a national first-level society in the field of biodiversity in China, CBCGDF has always regarded scientific communication as a key focus of its work. CBCGDF-LWC considers the revision of the law to be of great significance for promoting science popularization in China and improving the legal framework for science and technology.
The Law Working Committee of the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF-LWC) has reviewed the draft and submitted 32 suggestions to the Ministry after careful consideration.
