On March 16, 2023 (local time), the Languages Program Center of Europe and Latin America of China Media Group hosted a dialogue between China and Hungary themed on “Chinese Modernization and the World: A Shared Destiny”. Hungarian statesmen, scholars and heads of relevant institutions carried out discussions on a series of topics, such as the importance of Chinese modernization to the world and cooperation between the two countries. Participants agreed that the Chinese way of modernization has contributed new wisdom and new solutions to promoting global sustainable development and provided new opportunities for all countries across the globe.

Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), introduced China’s great achievements in promoting ecological civilization and biodiversity protection. He pointed out that the harmonious coexistence between man and nature is an important part of Chinese modernization, and China is willing to carry out extensive cooperation with other countries including Hungary in biodiversity protection, energy conservation and emission reduction as well as green travel, so as to benefit the mankind with jointed efforts.
