Recently, the National Forestry and Grassland Administration published " Forest Law Implementation Regulations of the People's Republic of China (Revised Draft)" (Draft for Comments) and now is soliciting public opinions. China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) actively responded to the call and submitted the following proposals after careful research and discussion.

In Chapter 1, Article 2, it is proposed to add "forest biodiversity, woodland biodiversity". The complete statement is "the forestry authority under the State Council proposes the protection of national forest coverage rate, forest biodiversity, forest stock volume, woodland reserve, woodland biodiversity, etc.".

In Chapter 1, Article 4, it is proposed to add "forest biodiversity". The complete statement is " the superior forest manager has completed the development goals of forest resource protection and forest fire prevention, the prevention and control of major forest pests, forest biodiversity, etc. for the next forest manager."
