Recently, the Department of Water Resources of Guizhou Province has solicited public opinions on the Management and Supervision of Ecological Flows of Small Hydroelectric Power Station in Guizhou Province (Draft for Comments). China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) attached great importance to this and has proposed 6 amendments after careful study.

CBCGDF’s suggestions mainly aimed at the following aspects: Hydroelectric Power Station’s responsibilities, supervisory responsibilities, ecological flow approval method, ecological flow discharge facilities, supervision responsibilities, and Supervision & Inspection Mechanisms of ecological flow.
