China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) learned that the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China had drawn up the draft of technical specifications for disclosure of environmental protection information of motor vehicles for comments from concerned organizational units. The Standards Committee of CBCGDF attached great importance to it and put forward 14 suggestions after careful research and discussion.

The suggestions covered the following areas: terms and definitions; general requirements and disclosure of inspection information.

CBCGDF believes disclosure of environmental protection information of motor vehicles is closely related to air pollution, people's health and social public interests, so CBCGDF’s Standards Committee will continue to follow up the revision of the draft.
