On March 29, CBCGDF Overseas Talents Working Group was officially set up, with Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), as the team leader.
Chaired by Dr. Zhou, the Working Group held its first meeting. Zhou Jinfeng made a comprehensive deployment on how to carry out overseas talents work according to the document of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST).
The "Overseas Intelligence Serving the Country Action Plan" (overseas talents) is an initiative of the China Association for Science and Technology to implement the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education and strengthening the country with talents, attracting and organizing overseas scientific and technological workers to serve the country in various ways. This plan is organized and implemented to introduce overseas high-level scientific and technological talents.
Zhou Jinfeng emphasized that overseas talents work is an important project for the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, and an important step for social organizations to "bring in". Promoting the overseas talents work is conducive to strengthening international science and technology dissemination, vigorously promoting the spirit of scientists, rapidly improving our capability to deeply participate in global environmental governance and scientific & technological governance, promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and for all life on earth, as well as promoting the sustainable development.
