China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) has released “the First Batch of Approved National Popular Science Education Bases in China from 2021 to 2025”. Lijiang Normal College of Higher Education and Wuhan Business School, recommended by CBCGDF have been successfully selected.

The National Popular Science Education Bases mainly refer to demonstration sites established by institutions in the fields of science and technology, education, culture, health, agriculture, security, natural resources and tourism, which are open to the society and the public, with the function of popularizing science and education. They include science and technology venues, education, scientific research and major projects, agriculture, rural areas and farmers, enterprises and natural resources.

It aims to improve the national scientific quality and the social civilization degree, designed to organize and encourage organizations to participate in the activities of science.

CBCGDF as a national society led by CAST, actively recommends the application of popular science education bases in the field of biodiversity conservation and green development. It is also one of the important tasks of CBCGDF to become a world-class Institute.
