The reporter learned from the Legislative Affairs Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on the 10th that the Legislative Affairs Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress has deployed and initiated the revision of the Wildlife Protection Law, it is planned to add amendments to the Wildlife Protection Law to the Standing Committee's legislative work plan this year, and speed up the process of amending the Animal Epidemic Prevention Law and other laws. At the same time, the Legislative Affairs Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress is also studying in the near future, the Standing Committee will make a decision on legal issues.

 

Wang Ruihe, director of the Economic Law Office of the Legislative Affairs Working Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, said that it is necessary to further supplement and improve relevant laws and regulations such as the Wildlife Protection Law, expand the scope of legal adjustment, step up efforts to combat and punish unlawful hunting and overeating of wild animals.
