Every word you say will change the world. In 2017, we wrote a letter to the United Nations Youth Leadership Program. In 2017, the United Nations Youth Leadership Program elected 17 youth leaders, but there was no Chinese. We think that should not be. We have so many Chinese people, our life, our work, our influence, our significance, so many outstanding young people without promotion of SDG, SDG is not successful. What if a densely populated country does not understand, participate or act? We say to the United Nations that we must have Chinese people as the global youth leaders of SDG. As I said just now, as long as you stand up, you will have a chance. Because you have the same creativity, and you have a wider audience and a wider range of influence. I hope that there will be such a global youth leader among us in the future. First of all, we need to nominate and participate. We need to take action today. Only by doing SDG seriously can we have the opportunity to participate in global communication. Only by acting first can we lead more people to participate in global SDG projects. This is also the change that all of us must make in the era of civilization. Our goal is to involve more young people in SDG program. Last week, we held a climate summit in Shenzhen. More and more young people began to participate in SDG. Our idea and work are no worse than others, we can do better! Youth are the main force in biodiversity conservation. The China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) has set up a working committee for the development of university students(Green University). They are the main force driving the mainstreaming of biodiversity conservation. At the 69th CITES Standing Committee, we participated as observers. We recruited a girl from Switzerland to attend the meeting as a representative of CBCGDF. In the meeting, she can listen, learn and communicate. In this way, we can connect with everyone. In international conferences, there is room for many social organizations to participate. At this meeting, some social organizations put forward the proposal that we should protect pangolin. After a discussion by the President of the General Assembly, he agreed. We immediately set up a pangolin working group to discuss the content of the proposal. The girl applied to join the working group. However, the Working Group drafted a motion and voted on it in the General Assembly. As a result, only three countries, including the Chinese Government, voted against it. When the motion is passed, it becomes an effective regulation. So, we should actively participate, and everyone can participate in global governance. Like this Swiss girl, she made a great contribution and plays a great role by participating. Building a community of human civilizations is not just a sentence from President Xi. I just talked about the history of the earth and mankind. We must work together. There is an old saying that the world is yours and ours, but in the final analysis, it is yours. Young people are full of vigor and vitality. They are in a period of prosperity, like the morning sun. We have a good food initiative, advocating "plant leading". Chinese people consume twice as much meat as the standard of China Health Guidelines. This meat is not good for health and the environment, so we jointly with universities like Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Yale University to advocate a healthy diet for young people. Good dietary habits also play a good role in promoting the ecological environment. In February this year, we organized a Chinese delegation to five American universities in Harvard and Yale to promote the concept of good food. But when we got there, we found that they had proposed such a change. We invite them to have a presentation at Yale Center in Beijing to show the Lancet Report on the relationship between diet and health.

We are also involved in a project. The source of three rivers, as we all know, is our mother river in Qinghai, China. It is the birthplace of Lancang River, Yangtze River, and Yellow River. But you may not know what changes have taken place in the source of the three rivers today. We made satellite images and found that due to the global climate change, the density of warm and wet airflow increased, and the rainfall increased to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The increase of rainfall forms into the first lake in the source of the Yangtze River, Zhuonai Lake broke a dam and the bottom of the lake emerged. In winter, when the wind blows up the Yellow sand, the road is paved. The place is over 4000 meters above sea level. There are no trees, only very small plants. The cover of yellow sand directly leads to the death of plants. The windswept into the soil and spread further. The source of the Yangtze River is desertification. This place has Tibetan antelopes. We found that this year there will be a threat of further dam break. The Qinghai-Tibet Railway and the Qinghai-Tibet Expressway will be threatened. Now, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has taken action. First of all, to divert part of the water, but also from other ways. Climate change will divert the Yangtze River. If we do not respond properly, it will affect many people and areas. That's what our young people can do. We just have to squat down, go out and reach out today. Everyone has heard of the concept of footprints. Footprints are traces left by going out. Now there is a new concept, handprint, that is, we pick up plastics. we are frugal. we restore our destruction to nature.
