On March 30th, organized by China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF), and undertaken by Beijing Linze Zhida Education Technology Co., Ltd, the 2019 “Earth Hour” special event “I am a Little Biologist” lit the attention of the children’s enthusiasm for biodiversity and environmental protection. After back to homes, the kids shared their days’ experience and feelings with their parents, grandparents, and carefully accomplish the homework from the other day that to paint on their kites. Moreover, the kids also seriously followed the agreement with the teachers - turned off the lights on time at 8:30 pm, marking the "Earth Hour" special event to a successful conclusion.

On the evening of March 31, the organizers of the event received photos of the children holding the kites happily. On the colorful kites, there are both artistic earth home with green trees and colorful beautiful flowers, as well as vibrant animals and insects. The little kites are pinned on the children's attention to nature and their infinite love. Let us wish the kids can realize the action of protecting the earth like the one on the kite - have a childhood full of creativity and let the dream fly freely.

The organizers were also infected by the children's kite paintings. They expressed the hope that through the promotion of biodiversity conservation and sustainable development, they will strive to provide children with nature of forests in the city so that even if they are not in the wild, still could feel the charm of nature and create empathy for protecting nature. At the same time, in order to encourage children to pay attention to the protection of the environment, CBCGDF also specially prepared certificates for them, to affirm and reward their performance and enthusiasm in the event.
