In the past summer vacation, the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF)’s China Conservation Area for white crane at Baiyangdian (CCAfa) and the Volunteers at the Baiyangdian CBCCGDF’s Green Children base have welcomed six batches of primary school students who have experienced the ecological environment of the Baiyangdian wetland and received natural science education.

On August 24th, the “Tour de CBCGDF CCAfa” project and the sixth phase of the natural science activities of the Baiyangdian CBCGDF Green Children’s Base were successfully completed. The last phase of the event was attended by 18 primary school students from all over the country.

Activities include making eco-bottles, being taught about wild birds, wildlife and aquatic life, participating in bird rescue and release, understanding how a fish hawk fishing, and participating in clean-up operations on wetlands. These processes are carried out by volunteers accompanying the children. The children have completed the first lesson on ecological education after the start of the school in the summer vacation.
