Recently, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) received good news from Mr. Wu, a volunteer of "China Conservation Area for shellfish at Yueqing bay", who said the team to protect the largest Shellfish seedling base in the mudflats of China. Mr. Wu said, under the participation of volunteers and journalists at the Conservation Area, the Xinhua News Agency's journalists made a survey about China Conservation Area for shellfish at Yueqing bay, and wrote an internal reference about the shellfish seeding base facing a crisis of extinction. This internal reference received the instructions from the leaders of the ministry of natural resources, and the event moved forward rapidly.

Yueqing bay is a key national breeding base and a famous "township of tegillarca granosa in China" and "township of oyster in China". Sanyu village is a pearl among them. The Conservation of shellfish seedling base in Sanyu village is a significant contribution to the biodiversity of coastal wetlands in China and the improvement of Marine ecological environment in China's coastal areas and Southeast Asian countries. On June 3, CBCGDF received the letter from Mr. Wu, said that director Wu of China Conservation Area for shellfish at Yueqing bay and Ms. Qiao, an environmental protection volunteer for protecting Conservation Area at Yueqing bay, keep it from being polluted. But they are brought into the police station. In response, the CBCGDF began to assist the "China Conservation Area for shellfish at Yueqing bay" to start the follow-up work for two months. Fortunately, the efforts of volunteers at the Conservation Area were not in vain, and information was effectively fed back to the relevant departments.

On the morning of July 30, three leaders from the ministry of natural resources and mayor of Yueqing visited the Conservation Area around Sanyu village. In the afternoon, in Yueqing government conference center, the leaders of the ministry of natural resources and Zhejiang provinces have a discussion with volunteers, they have a detailed understanding of the Sanyu village shellfish seeding base of the ecological value and the crisis, the impact on the Marine ecology, Wengyang street made farmland reclamation projects on the ecological environment, and the influence of the farmers' livelihood. Those leaders said that they will take positive and effective measures to solve problems. The volunteers will also continue to follow up on the situation.
