On the July 10th Seminar hosted by China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) focusing on “The Mainstreaming of Agricultural Biodiversity and the UN FAO’s ITPGRFA”, the guests: Zhang Xinyou, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of Chongren County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, Mr. Kent Nnadozie, the Secretary of the FAO’s International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA), Dr. Rene Castro, FAO’s Climate, Biodiversity, Land and Water Department Assistant-Director General, as well as Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, the Secretary-General of CBCGDF, jointly unveiled the Plaque shows the establishment of CBCGDF China Conservation Area for Hemp Chicken at Chongren (CCAfa).
It aims at supporting local biodiversity and genetic resources protection, support Chongren County to develop characteristic agricultural products industry brand for Hemp Chicken.
