Some time ago, CBCGDF shared with readers some of the recent work carried out by CCAfa (China Conservation Area for something as somewhere) sites, on the rescue of endangered wildlife and the winter patrol. These days, how are the work that everyone cares about going? Let's broadcast it to you now:

(How about the cold protection suit for Acer pentaphyllum?)

The volunteers from China Conservation Area for Baihe at Baiyangdian, made from local materials, made cold-proof suits for Acer pentaphyllum by using strips of grass and non-woven bags. Wang Xiaoye, director of the conservation site, said that the Acer pentaphyllum planted in the land trial is wintering for the first time in North China. There is no experience. In order to ensure that nothing is lost, it is necessary to make more efforts. This is a necessary process of accumulating experience and also provides a better feasibility demonstration for the promotion of Acer pentaphyllum planting next year. We will also convene as soon as possible the people and volunteers who participated in the planting of Acer pentaphyllum to complete the warmth and wind resistance of Acer pentaphyllum seedlings for the winter.

On November 22nd, the volunteers from China Conservation Area for Baihe at Baiyangdian successfully dismantled the orchard bird nets. Volunteers removed large pieces of bird nets and liberated the wounded birds. At the same time, the red falcon Tao Tao, which was rescued before, torn off the paper box when it was planned to be released on the 22nd. It successfully "prisonbroken" and returned to nature.

In addition, the volunteers from the site, knowing that the groups of great bustards have arrived, will launch the "in search of great bustards" activity and actively arrange for patrols in the wild.

China Conservation Area for waterfowl at Tangshan has rescued two Oriental White Pelicans on the 20th and 25th. Their wings were injured to varying degrees. After treatment, they have all passed the dangerous period and entered the recovery area like the natural environment, waiting for recovery.

On the 25th, this conservation site received another white crane. Currently, it is being treated.

Jinzhou is not only a traditional wintering place for great bustards, in the core area of CBCGDF’s China Conservation Area for great bustard at Jinzhou, there are also a large number of gray cranes and white-headed cranes, which are mixed together for wintering. They also companied with red ducks, common mergansers, spotted mergansers and mallards, etc. Yu Lian, the director of this site, photographed the white-headed cranes that returned to Jinzhou in winter as well as the gray crane groups during the patrol.

If there were injured birds, or other wounded wild animals around you, and they were suffering from poaching, please help them as much as you can. Because maybe with your help, they will be able to survive. Please also respect other beings on the planet, respect nature, protect biodiversity and protect the ecological environment.
