Every year from September to November is the season for migratory birds. Spectacular migratory scenes attract people to watch. While wildlife conservation volunteers and related law enforcement departments are also on the front line, this period is also a high incidence of illegal poaching.. During the high incidence of illegal bird catching, the number of injured birds on the way to migration will increase and they will need help at any time.

Recently, the volunteers of the "China Conservation Area for Great Bustard at Tianjin" (CCAfa) actively carried out patrol work and carried out legal publicity activities in various fields in Jizhou District to educate the villagers the importance of wildlife protection and relevant laws promote the knowledge of bird love and bird protection. In addition, the site's volunteers and other wildlife protection workers in the Jizhou District actively communicated and planned to jointly carry out large-scale wildlife conservation campaigns in towns and villages!

Entering November, the first class protected animal great bustard in China, in addition a small number of parts stay in their breeding sites, the rest migrate to wintering areas. Because of the arrival of the migration season, there have been many cases of rescuing birds in various places, especially in the traditional wintering areas. Volunteers at the “China Conservation Area for Great Bustard at Tianjin” will carry out large-scale patrol work. At the same time, CBCGDF’s other “China Conservation Areas for Great Bustard” at Changyuan, Tumuji, Jinzhou and Fengqiu also pay attention to the protection of the endangered species, for the sake of their safety to spend the winter.

If you or your friend encountered an injured great bustard during the season, please do not hesitate to give a help.
