Recently, some wildlife protection volunteers reported to the Research Department of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) that only about 40 remain of 63 live Ailurus rescued in the "April.29 Great Harm to Endangered Wildlife". The rescued Ailurus have been fostered in Bifengxia Wildlife Park.

According to volunteers, since 2020, Bifengxia Wildlife Park has fostered, sheltered and rescued many batches of the Ailurus. According to relevant media reports, the Sichuan police have cracked three cases of endangering rare and endangered wild animals in recent years, involving a large number of golden monkeys and the Ailurus. At present, nearly 100 live Ailurus are being temporarily fostered in the Bifengxia Wildlife Park in Ya'an, Sichuan.

CBCGDF attaches great importance to the problems reported by volunteers. The Research Department of CBCGDF applied to the Forestry and Garden Administration of Leshan City, the Forestry and Grassland Administration of Ya'an City, and the Bifengxia Wildlife Park to disclose relevant information about the Ailurus involved in the case. The Policy and Law Department of CBCGDF hopes that all parties will disclose relevant information about the Ailurus involved in the case in a timely manner according to law. CBCGDF will update the follow-up to the public.
