CBCGDF Follows | “Beijing Municipal Waste Management Regulations Amendment (Draft for Review)” For Public Comment

In order to achieve the goal of “zero landfill” of primary garbage in Beijing by the end of 2025 and to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of waste sorting, the Beijing Municipal Management Committee openly solicits public consultation opinions from October 14 to November 13, 2019 on the “Beijing Municipal Waste Management Regulations Amendment (Draft for Review)” and explanations. In this way, the participation of the whole people can be promoted to create a healthy and comfortable living environment for the people and a sustainable social development. China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will continue to pay attention to and make relevant and effective recommendations, and welcome people from all walks of life to actively contribute.

 

CBCGDF has long been concerned with the field of waste sorting. In 2019, CBCGDF participated in the theme activities of the popular science exhibition of “National Science Popularization Day” in Hainan Province. It was responsible for the work of waste separation and environmental protection plastics science popularization area, scientific waste classification and environmental protection plasticization, and actively promoted garbage classification knowledge. CBCGDF has provided recommendations for the Hefei Municipal Domestic Waste Classification Management Regulations.
