From September 4th to 6th, 2019, The 5th Eastern Economic Forum opened at far Eastern Federal University (Russian: Дальневосточный федеральный университет) in Vladivostok, Russia. As one of the important contents of the “2019 Chinese Dream, Glorious Action - Entrepreneur Environmental Protection”, the delegation of Tibetan entrepreneurs led by A’Pei Jinyuan, Vice-Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of the Tibet Autonomous Region and Chairman of the Tibet Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended the opening ceremony of The 5th Eastern Economic Forum as well as the Sino-Russian Dialog.
The Eastern Economic Forum is proposed by Russian President Putin in 2015, aims to promote the establishment of the new platform for economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, including the Russian Far East. It is also an important platform for dialogue among global politicians, social activists, and entrepreneurs.
The “2019 Chinese Dream, Glorious Action - Entrepreneur Environmental Protection” series activities are organized by China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and Beijing Young Entrepreneur Innovation & Development Association. On the afternoon of September 7th, a seminar on ecological environment protection between China and Russia was held in Moscow, where Chinese entrepreneurs helped to protect the third polar ecological environment in the world. This conference is the 3rd series of activities of "Chinese Dream, Glorious Action” global environmental advocacy. Its theme is “Creating ecological poverty alleviation, helping the third pole of the world, and conspiring to build global ecological environment”.
A’Pei Jinyuan pointed out at the meeting that Tibet is located in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and is known as the "World's Third Pole". The Tibetan people are closely related to the plateau ecological environment, interdependent and integrated. The private enterprises in Tibet are not only the beneficiaries of "lucid waters and lush mountains", but also the practitioners of ecological civilization construction. "Protecting the ecological environment means developing productive forces", "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", "ice and snow are also invaluable assets" concept have been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Private entrepreneurs in Tibet should work hand in hand to promote the construction of the "Third Pole" of the world's ecological environment to a new level.
In addition, representatives of Chinese entrepreneurs including Suo Lang, Chairman of Tibet Langsai Enterprise Co., Ltd.; La Qiong, Chairman of Tibet Dareva Highland Barley Wine Co., Ltd.; Wen Xiaofeng, Chairman of Tibet Ali Hotel Co., Ltd.; and Zhan Dui, Chairman of Tibet Gangdisi Construction Co., Ltd., shared their experiences in environmental protection. Experts from the fields of environmental protection and new energy in Russia also exchanged experiences on ecological environment protection. With the solid action, entrepreneurs have practiced the concept of green development and jointly celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
