CBCGDF Is Invited to the ACCA 5th General Assembly on Chinese Investments in Africa

The African Coalition for Corporate Accountability (ACCA) in partnership with its organization member called: Groupe de Recherche et de Plaidoyer sur les Industries Extractives (GRPIE), has invited representative of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) to the annual General Assembly of the coalition to be held from 06 to 8 November 2019 in Abidjan (Ivory Coast), at the hotel IVOTEL.

 

The theme of the GA this year will be "Impacts, Opportunities and Accountability in the Context of Chinese Investments in Africa" and the main objectives will be to build participants' capacity on Chinese investment issues; to enable participants to share their experiences, advocacy tools and approaches for greater accountability of Chinese enterprises in Africa; and consult with ACCA members on the organization’s governance process.

 

At the invitation of the organizer, Ma Yong, the Deputy Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) will focus on introducing the environmental public interest litigation in China and the green sustainable investment in overseas.
