In order to better serve the country's overall diplomacy, help Beijing's urban construction, and enhance Beijing's popularity as an international walking sports city, the 4th Beijing International Walking Forum will be held at the Capital University of Physical Education and Sports on Friday, September 6, 2019, on the basis of the successful hosting the Beijing International Walking Forum for three consecutive years.

 

The forum was approved by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Beijing Municipal People's Government and co-sponsored by the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, the Beijing Municipal Sports Association, and the Beijing Walking Association.

 

The theme of the forum is “Walking and Olympic Culture Communication”, which aims to promote the combination of walking and Olympic culture communication, promote the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, promote the spread of Olympic culture, strengthen exchanges between Chinese and foreign walking sports, promote the integration of Chinese and foreign cultures, and launch the “Walking to promote the spread of Olympic culture” initiatives.

 

Sustainable development has always been an important part of the development of Olympic culture. China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) is an important organizational force for international and domestic sustainable development and has achieved remarkable results in exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad. As a support unit for this forum, CBCGDF will work to promote the deep integration of walking and sustainable development, and better promote the concept of sustainable development. We hereby invite you to participate in this forum. As an international guest invited by the forum, you will present your views on topics of interest to urban development, cultural integration, and the promotion of national health, as well as discussions with representatives from various fields including experts and scholars, and outdoor sports enthusiasts.
