On August 9th, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng traveled to Shanghai for an event. The below is a live record of the Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF)’s average workday.

Dr. Zhou went to the high-speed rail station at 6 a.m. When he arrived in Shanghai, it was about 11:40 a.m. And then, he rushed to the venue of the 18th Meeting of the Consortium for Globalization of Chinese Medicine (CGCM) at half-past 12. Later, he would make a keynote speech on the relationship between traditional Chinese medicine and biodiversity conservation.

He was occupied with speech and communication with other participants during the meeting.

Dr. Zhou left the venue at half-past four to take the plane to Beijing where he has lots of work to deal with. He arrived at the airport after about an hour.

Unfortunately, the flight was canceled because of Super Typhoon Lekima, so he instantly contacted colleagues to book high-speed rail ticket, avoiding missing any work.

He planned to enter into the Shanghai station via the north gate, only to found the door was closed. He rushed to the south gate to get into the station. It was lucky that he finally caught up the train.

Dr. Zhou was unable to have a rest on the train. Due to the ticket shortage, the colleague could only buy the ticket for standing room. The night on the train was just enough for him to make up for the daily work that he had missed due to attending the meeting during the day.
