The Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) Dr. Zhou Jinfeng was invited to attend the Sino-US Loess Landforms Forum held in Yangling, Shaanxi Province on June 18. The forum aims to share background information on the geology and value of the deep loess landforms that are rare in China and the United States, including their scope, history, and cultural and economic importance, and to identify the major ecological challenges facing these geomorphologies. Representatives from both sides of the China-US forum confirmed opportunities in the following areas:

1. Conduct new research on loess and two deep loess landforms;

2. Further develop China's cooperation and conduct more exchanges on research and other actions to protect the two loess landforms.
