When you choose accommodation for business trips, one is a five-star hotel and the other is an ordinary express hotel. Will you choose cheaper accommodation with the attitude of saving money? When you travel abroad, you have enough time, you can even visit Paris and Rome. Will you save money by reducing travel time and rushing to your next destination one day ahead of schedule in order to improve your work efficiency? Each answer has its own merits, but the CBCGDF can firmly tell the world, "We can do it!" The priority should be given to efficient, fast and economical ways. Every cent of the CBCGDF should be spent on the real cause of biodiversity conservation. We should serve the cause of the people with youth and life. We have such confidence and determination to implement every detail of our work.

Here are two real stories to share with friends:

On April 11, 2019, an aquatic wildlife Branch will hold the "spotted seals Alliance Conservation Conference 2019" at Kempinski Hotel, Dalian. It is reported that Kempinski is a five-star hotel, the official website shows that the per capita price is more than 680 yuan. On the evening of April 10, 2019, the CBCGDF and four directors of China Conservation Areas gathered in Dalian to attend the second day’s meeting. At 9 p.m. on the 10th evening, people were still intensely discussing measures for the protection of spotted seals and how to make suggestions to the Ministry of Agriculture and so on. A director of the China Conservation Area said whether you were staying at the Kempinski Hotel in Dalian. After a moment of silence, Talina, the spotted seal girl of CBCGDF, responded that the five-star hotel was too expensive for us to stay. We're not staying here. After the meeting, the director of the China Conservation Area said that the CBCGDF is also a social organization, and the use of funds is really for the protection of the ecological environment.

On March 10, 2019, when the Chinese people were immersed in holidays, a bad new spread to the CBCGDF. News shows that Boeing 737 carrying 157 people crashed shortly after takeoff from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to Nairobi, Kenya, killing all passengers on board. According to the original plan, this will be a flight for the CBCGDF delegation to Nairobi to participate in the fourth session of the UN Environment Assembly. Later, Zhou Jinfeng, Secretary-General of the CBCGDF, temporarily changed to another flight one day ahead of schedule, considering the save working hours and funds. And it is this kind of self-conscious saving that makes the CBCGDF lucky to escape the catastrophe.

Even so, there is no luck in the CBCGDF’s staff who brushes past the God of death. We still choose cheaper small airlines and night flights, just because the people of CBCGDF value every bit of money and are willing to work hard to create a better tomorrow for all lives.
