Recently, CBCGDF was preparing materials for the Tianjin City Forest Planting Party. We found that blue sky and white clouds are written in numerous poems. As deeper research was conducted, CBCGDF found the reason. In ancient times, blue sky and white clouds represent harmony and warmth, beauty and happiness. On the one hand, the ancient poets love the nature and treasure the beauty of blue sky and white clouds; on the other hand, by attaching their joy and melancholy to blue sky and clouds, it helps them to express their thoughts and emotions better.

It is also important to note that the 2018-2019 “Blue Sky Protection Campaign” launched by Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE), among which Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is the key protection area.

As President Xi Jinping says, the top priority is winning the battle against air pollution to return the blue sky to the people, Xi said, calling for concerted efforts to basically eliminate heavy pollution days.

Environment is livelihood. Lush mountains is beauty. Blue sky is happiness. We need to treat the ecological environment as we treat our own lives.

CBCGDF hopes that through efforts from different stakeholders, the air will always be clear and the sky will always be crystal blue.
