Eco-protection to the World 3^rd Pole

Introduction

"China Dream ·Glorious Journey" - Eco-protection to the World 3rd Pole (hereinafter referred to as the “meeting”) is one of series activities of the 4^th United Nations Environment Assembly, and is an international meeting organized by China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation, co-sponsored by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce to cope with challenges in ecological environment field of the world's 3rd Pole.

The meeting, with the theme of “Seeking Jointly Global Ecological Environment Construction", will allow experts, scholars and environmentalists from China and all over the world to understand China's efforts in ecological and environmental protection, pollution control, desert improvement, health and poverty alleviation, medical waste treatment and glorious causes and other fields of the World's 3rd Pole, achievements obtained and challenges faced, and to raise the awareness of future environmentalists in China and the world about "China Solution" for ecological and environmental protection of the World’s 3rd Pole. It also provides a multi-dimensional perspective for experts, scholars and environmentalists to understand the diversity and complexity of ecological environment of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and to understand the innovation and diversity of the "China Solution" to solve ecological and environmental problems.

The meeting will enhance all sectors of people's awareness of the "innovation and development” main force role played by private enterprises and private entrepreneurs of China in protecting ecological environment and realizing sustainable development, and expand and raise the awareness that private enterprises share the responsibility and obligation of green development with the government and society, and actively promote practices and actions of private entrepreneurs in the field of ecological and environmental protection. In addition, the meeting also hopes to set up a "World’s 3rd Pole" ecological environment management technology service platform to work with global countries to discuss jointly major issues on green development, build consensus on sustainable development, and actively promote international exchanges and practical cooperation in the field of green and sustainable development, providing China wisdom and China solution for global ecological civilization construction and building of a community of shared future for mankind.

The meeting will advocate for contemporary entrepreneurs to actively seek innovative solutions, take active actions to call for more extensive cooperation at local, national, regional and global levels to work together for sustainable development of global environment.
