The international forum hosted by the Greenaccord association will be an important opportunity for journalists to learn about the progress in natural environment development and forest conservation. Greenaccord emphasizes the role and responsibility of journalists and communicators on environmental and sustainability issues. The association will hold an international forum every year and invite outstanding journalists from five continents to participate in this speculative forum.

 

This forum will be the most productive human exchange in terms of professional cooperation on environmental issues. The central focus of the event will be an in-depth reflection on how to proceed in the ecological value of forests and the consequences of their disruption for native indigenous people. During the event will take place the award” Greenaccord International Media Award", to an African newspaper, TV or radio station which particularly distinguished itself for the quality of services on the environment.

 

The mayor of San Miniato Vittorio Gabbanini, famous journalist Luisella Meozzi, former President of European Network of Agricultural Journalists (Germany) Katharina Suser, Chief Forestry Policy and Resource, FAO (Denmark) Mette Wilkie, President of “Friends of the Siberian Forests” (Siberia) Andrey Laletin, Scientific Director and President of Sustainable Europe Research Institute SERI (Austria) Fritz Hinterberger and other important figures will also attend the forum.

 

In March 2019, Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, the secretary general of CBCGDF will be present at the forum.
