From November 22 to 24, the thirteenth annual meeting of medium and small-sized business owners, with its theme “hail to reform and opening up and entrepreneurs” was convened, and CBCGDF representative attended the meeting at the invitation. The annual meeting gathered a group of successful entrepreneurs and representatives of well-known financial institutions in Beijing and offered a platform for cutting-edge brainstorming with the regard to related issues, turning the broad consensus of win-win outcome among medium and small-sized entrepreneurs into real actions.

On November 23, in Great Hall of the People in Beijing, He Pijie Deputy Secretary-General of the 12th session of CPPCC and Co-chair of the organizing committee of the annual meeting of medium and small-sized business owners delivered his speech, marking the opening ceremony of the meeting. All the speakers referred to the important talk which was delivered by President Xi Jinping in the seminar on private enterprises in which he stressed that medium and small-sized enterprises have a very promising future and we must support their development and work to enhance their core competitiveness. His remarks definitely gave an impetus to the development of private sectors nationwide. Relevant heads of National Development and Reform Commission, NDRC, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Stated-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, SASAC, State Administration for Market Regulation, China Securities Regulatory Commission and All-China Women’s Federation, ACWF, scholars and experts addressed in the opening ceremony where more than 1200 representatives attended.

Since the initiation of the reform and opening up in the past four decades, national private sectors have contributed to over 50 percent taxes, over 60 percent GDP, over 70 percent technological innovation results and over 80 percent employment in urban areas, and its number accounts for over 90 percent enterprises. Ma Peihua, Vice President of the 12th Session of CPPCC and Vice Director of China Vocational Education Association demonstrated strong vitality of private sectors based on a series of relevant data.

In this way, enterprises will be able to enjoy further development.

After the meeting, the CBCGDF representative introduced the work to and exchanged ideas with He Pijie, Deputy Secretary-General of the 12th session of CPPCC and Co-chair of the organizing committee of the annual meeting of medium and small-sized business owners addressed at the meeting.
