What is H20?
H20, the Global River City Summit, will bring together 20 cities around the world with experiences or plans to explore the wisdom and experiences of sustainable development. The summit aims to build a river culture brand, to promote international cooperation among cities, to drive innovation and green development, and to lead the development of eco-friendly modern cities in the world, especially in developing countries, in order to promote the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs) contribute to the power of the city.
Why Hangzhou is the city launches the H20?
Hangzhou, China was the host city of the eleventh summit of the G20 leaders in 2016. And the city was built according to the Qiantang River. Last year, the Hangzhou Municipal Government proposed a major strategy of "supporting the development of the river".
