Recently, Zhongwei City made a detailed report about Dr. Zhou Jinfeng, the Secretary-General of China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and the Co-Director of Center of the Ecological Civilization of the Institute of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era of Peking University’s special lecture.

The theme of this lecture was “An Era of Ecological Civilization, A Case Study of Practicing Ecological Civilization”. It was a meeting in which the relevant personnel of the Zhongwei Municipal Committee intensive study, and it as also the fifth special tutorial report on Xi Jinping’s Ecological Civilization thoughts of the learning activities with the theme “Shapotou Lecture Hall”.

During the lecture, Dr. Zhou analyzed the connotation and denotation of China’s ecological civilization through case sharing and vivid speech. He thoroughly expounded the core idea of Xi Jinping’s Ecological Civilization thoughts and explained the index system and practice of the Ecological Civilization cities.

This special lecture was presided over by the mayor of Zhongwei City, and heads of relevant departments of the Zhongwei Municipal Committee and Municipal Government attended and listened to the lecture on site.

During the lecture, Dr. Zhou also recommended that the Zhongwei City government should pay attention to the problem of wildlife poaching, strengthen the fight against illegal activities, strengthen the contact and communication with front-line volunteers, and jointly do a better job in wildlife protection, which was also actively adopted by the Zhongwei municipal government.
