Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee, with General Secretary Xi Jinping as its core, has attached great importance to the construction of ecological civilization and the protection of the ecological environment, in order to better serve the overall diplomacy of the country, to help build the "four centers" of Beijing, to enhance its popularity as an international hiking city, and to create a new name card for Beijing. The Beijing Walking Association (BWA), Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality and the Huairou District People's Government will jointly hold the "2019 (6th) Beijing Huairou Hiking(Sports) Conference" on October 19, 2019.
As an important organizational power in the cause of green development, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) has rich experience in the field of ecological civilization construction at home and abroad. Previously, as a support unit, the CBCGDF has helped the Beijing Walking Association (BWA) successfully support the "2019 Yanqing Hiking Conference" and the "4th Beijing International Walking Forum" and other related activities. In order to achieve better development of green projects and promote the construction of ecological civilization, the CBCGDF has been invited by Beijing Walking Association(BWA) once again as the support unit of this event, we sincerely invite foreigners from all walks of life who are enthusiastic about environmental protection to participate in the 2019 Huairou Hiking(Sports) Conference, so as to help the green projects and promote the smooth progress of this event.

Walking route:
The whole journey is about 14 kilometers.
Rules of event:
(1) To ensure the safe and orderly conduct of the events, besides other participants in the open ceremony, the event takes the form of follow-up.
(2) Participants will receive five different colors of wristband at five places along the walking route, and five colors of wristband at the end of the event will receive the certificate of completion.

Third place: North Gate of Yanqi Lake Scenic Area
Fourth place: Yanqi Lake Dam

Mobile Photo Captures of "Huairou Walking, the Most Beautiful Moment"
During the conference, mobile photo captures will be collected for the society and will be shared via social media by the "Beijing Walking Association (BWA)", and the top ten works that will be rewarded.
Garbage Classification Knowledge Popularization Activities:
To popularize the knowledge of garbage classification and develop good habits of garbage classification, garbage classification knowledge exhibition boards, and recycling stations will be set up along the hiking route.
