In 2018, the CBCGDF Water Safety Fund made great adjustments to its work, concentrated more efforts, focused on promoting water safety plans on campus, and donated equipment and subsidies for primary schools in remote and impoverished areas and provide adequate and healthy drinking water.

This project won the 2018 (8th) China Public Welfare Festival Annual Public Welfare Project Award. During the year, the Water Safety Fund conducted a survey of the water security status of 22 rural primary schools, benefiting nearly 5,000 children. Among them, 15 schools have successfully completed the transformation of water use, and teachers and students on campus have used safe water. In addition, two primary schools have been implemented, waiting for approval, and five have completed preliminary research and will be implemented soon.

Looking at the project-funded school's inspection certificate for drinking water quality, as well as pure water flowing from the faucet, CBCGDF Water Safety Fund said: We will be happy together with the kids in the next Chinese New Year!
