On the arrival of the Double Ninth Festival in 2019, to carry forward the Chinese nation’s traditional virtues of respecting the elderly, loving the old, inspiring the public’s awareness and feelings of respecting the elderly and loving the old, and fostering the good quality and civilization of respecting and caring for the elderly, taking concrete actions to care about the elderly, and taking the initiative to work for the elderly, China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (CBCGDF) and Guangyuan Love Association jointly carried out a theme activity on “Respecting and Caring for the Elderly” in Heping Village, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. At the event, everyone presented scarfs and dark-red enameled potteries to 240 old people. Through practical actions, the attendees and the volunteers of Guangyuan promoted public interest and passed on love.
